I'm working to fix a layout bug that was identified in plasma-workspace 3 years ago, and fixed, only to have now returned. I've reopened the initial bug report and have not yet received a reply. I have, however, done what I could to mitigate the issue by adding a plasmashell update script to solidify the widget geometry settings during build-up of the corona. What you may see is that the installed desktop gets mal-arranged at initial login after installation. You can, of course, resize and rearrange to your liking and that will stick. Meanwhile, I'll continue to chase down why this Plasma bug has shown up again (it was a timing issue). Official announcement Download BluestarLinux
