Gnoppix Linux 23.7, the privacy and security-focused open-source operating system, has launched its latest release. This version features updated desktop environments, including GNOME Desktop version 44.1, KDE Desktop 5.27.5, and XFCE 4.18, offering a lightweight and user-friendly experience. With two years of support for both AMD 64 and i386 architectures, this long-term support version ensures stability. Notably, third-party AI chat clients have been replaced with an open-source AI chatbot that prioritizes user privacy, local operation, and customization. Spanish language support has been added, thanks to @Jedumar. The release is available for free download from SourceForge, and Gnoppix members can access it through Patreon for a faster connection. Users are encouraged to provide feedback and share their experiences through the Gnoppix Discord community.
