Q4OS-specific improvements and fixes, such as enhancements to the Q4OS Setup tool and Desktop profiler, are also part of this release. Q4OS Aquarius is a long-term support (LTS) version based on Debian Bookworm 12, with the latest Plasma 5.27 and an optional Trinity 14.1.1 desktop environment. The release is available for 64-bit/x64 and 32-bit/i686 computers, with an ARM64 edition to follow. The Q4OS team commits to keeping the operating system free and assures ongoing support with security patches and updates for at least five years. Users can download the installation media images from the Q4OS website, and an automated update process will handle updates for existing users.
