LibreELEC 11.0.3, the final stable version, has been released with significant updates and fixes. Notably, it includes Kodi v20.2 (Nexus) and Linux kernel version 6.1.38. The release introduces a Generic-Legacy image that supports nVidia GPUs, the Chrome Browser add-on, and older hardware. Additionally, support for older Amlogic devices (S905, S905X/D, S912) is reintroduced. Existing LibreELEC 10.0 installations won't update automatically due to Python 3 changes, requiring a manual update. Moreover, the release notes provide detailed information on improvements and fixes for Raspberry Pi, Generic (x86_64), Allwinner, and Amlogic devices. The DVB add-ons are temporarily deactivated, and users are advised to make backups before upgrading. Project staff is available to assist with technical issues in the forum.
