Offensive Security has announced the release of Kali Linux 2023.2, a highly popular GNU/Linux distribution for ethical hacking and penetration testing. This new version brings a host of new features, updated tools, and improvements. Notably, Kali Linux 2023.2 introduces support for PipeWire, replacing PulseAudio in the Xfce edition, to enhance the audio experience. Additionally, the Xfce edition receives the GtkHash extension for quick checksum computations, while the GNOME edition is updated to GNOME 44 and includes the Tiling Assistant extension for an improved tiling desktop experience.
