Debian 12.5

Debian 12.5, codenamed "bookworm," has been released, focusing on security fixes and adjustments for critical issues. This update does not signify a new version but rather updates existing packages, allowing users to upgrade seamlessly without discarding older media. Notably, the release addresses various security vulnerabilities, including preventing arbitrary file writes in apktool and fixing memory leaks in several packages like engrampa and mate-screensaver. Additionally, new installation images will soon be available at standard locations, and existing installations can be updated via Debian mirrors. Official announcement Download Debian
