Debian Edu/Skolelinux 12.8 “Bookworm”

Debian 12.8, the latest update to the stable "bookworm" distribution, was released on November 9, 2024. This point release focuses on security fixes and addresses a few critical issues without introducing a new version. Users who regularly update via security.debian.org will already have many of these patches, so only minimal updating may be needed. Installation media for "bookworm" remains usable, as packages can be upgraded directly after installation from an updated Debian mirror. New installation images reflecting this update will soon be available on Debian’s official download sites.
