Manjaro 25.0 'Zetar' released. Since we released 'Yonada' in December 2024, we worked hard to get the next release of Manjaro out there. We call it 'Zetar'. The GNOME edition has received several updates to Gnome 48 series. This includes a lot of fixes and polish when Gnome 48 3 originally was released in March 2025. The Plasma edition comes with the latest Plasma 6.3 series 1, Frameworks 6.12 and KDE Gear 24.12 1. It brings exciting new improvements to your desktop. With our Xfce edition, we have now Xfce 4.20. Linux kernel 6.12 is used for this release, including the latest drivers available to date. With 6.6 LTS and 6.1 LTS, we offer additional support for older hardware as needed.
We are pleased to announce T2 25.4 as a major, AI-ready release, shipping latest AMD ROCm, which thanks to a sponsorship collaboration of DeepComputing and ExactCODE GmbH has been successfully ported to RISC-V and ARM64! This breakthrough significantly advances independant AI and HPC solutions on open hardware platforms. With a total of 17 pre-compiled base install ISOs for various Glibc, Musl and uClibc combinations are available for 12 CPU ISAs: Alpha, ARM(64), HPPA64, IA64, MIPS64, PowerPC(64), RISCV64, SPARC64, i586, x86-64. On most architectures the release still boots with as little as 512MB of RAM or even less, and ISO downloads are less than 2GB for base Wayland desktop with Firefox. The release contains a total of 3728 changesets, including approximately 4558 package updates, 483 fixed issues, 527 packages or features added and 138 removed. MX Linux 23.6 is the sixth refresh of our MX 23 release, consisting of bug fixes, kernel updates and application updates since our original release of MX 23. If you are already running MX 23, there is no need to reinstall. Packages are all available through the regular update channels or by installing the changed applications. Highlights include: Debian 12.10 'Bbookworm' base. Some highlights since our 23.5 release include: Xfce 4.20 core packages (Xfce ISO images and Raspberry Pi respin); MX Package Installer has user interface improvements, particularly dealing with Flatpak setup and privilege elevation prompts; improved privilege prompt management in many MX tools; for Xfce users, improvements to mx-system-sounds login function, waiting for a sound server to start before trying to play the sound; fixes to deal with Xfce desktop changes and setting wallpapers; fixes to 'preserve home' mode in the installer UEFI Manager, a standalone tool for managing UEFI settings....
This release presents the new Linux kernel 6.8.0-57 and the latest upgrade of the webbrowser google-chrome-stable (version 135.0.7049.52-1). In addition, a bug of the Starbuntu wallpaper program variety-rox which relates to manual wallpaper change, has been remedied.
IPFire 2.29 - Core Update 193 introduces major enhancements focused on security and system modernization. A key highlight is the addition of post-quantum cryptography support for IPsec tunnels, using ML-KEM for quantum-resilient key exchanges, alongside an updated default cipher suite prioritizing AES-256 and ChaCha20. The core toolchain has also been upgraded, including glibc 2.41 and Binutils 2.44, ensuring compatibility with modern hardware. Numerous system packages and firmware have been updated, addressing several Intel security advisories. The update also brings interface improvements, new default services like DNS-over-TLS, and refreshed add-ons. Users are encouraged to apply the update promptly.

Enhancements have been made to Pardus Gnome Greeter. Bluetooth quick access extension has been included. Enhancements have been made to the Pardus Xfce Login Screen and its settings. Enhancements have been made to the Pardus My Computer application. Latest versions of corporate applications have been added to repository. Contributed to debian-installer, cinnamon-spices-extensions, Bluetooth-Battery-Meter, thunar projects. External applications available in the repository (Android Studio, PyCharm, Google Chrome, AnyDesk, TeamViewer, VS Code, etc) have been updated, and new ones have been added. The default internet browser, Firefox, has been updated to version 128.9. The default office application, LibreOffice, has been updated.
Regata OS 25 'Maverick' is now available for download. Initially, the new version of the operating system was released gradually via system updates for existing users. However, an updated ISO image file is now available for those who wish to make new installations. Among the highlights is KDE Plasma 6.3, which arrives with new fixes and improvements, such as the fractional scaling feature that has been reworked to better adjust the image to the screen's pixel grid, reducing blur and producing sharper, more defined images. In addition, for those who love to customize the desktop, leaving everything their way, the new Plasma 6.3 makes it easier to clone panels when the user is in edit mode. Other changes include improvements to the System Monitor application, which now uses less CPU resources.

Today, it is time I announce the release of Feren OS 2025.03, a minor rebase update for Feren OS that takes the existing, delayed, work on what was originally meant to be 2023.07 but was delayed due to requiring work on a new Store to conclude, and packages what is currently complete from it into a new stable release of Feren OS, while also porting 2023.04’s missing applications, to fill in the gaps the new Store will soon fill, for the time being. Feren OS finally uses an Ubuntu 22.04 LTS base in this release, bringing with it a whole slew of improvements and software updates, making the Feren OS experience even better than before. Previous versions of Feren OS were based on Ubuntu 20.04 LTS, and with this rebase comes support until the end of April 2027.
We are excited to announce that our latest software version 8.4 for Proxmox Virtual Environment is now available for download. This release is based on Debian 12.10 'Bookworm' but uses the Linux kernel 6.8.12 and kernel 6.14 as opt-in, QEMU 9.2.0, LXC 6.0.0, ZFS 2.2.7 with compatibility patches for kernel 6.14, and Ceph Squid 19.2.1 as stable option. Proxmox VE 8.4 includes the following highlights: live migration with mediated devices such as NVIDIA vGPU, this allows the migration of running VM guests that use mediated devices; support for external backup providers - Proxmox VE now provides an API that allows developers to write backup provider plugins; sharing host directories with VM guests using virtiofs which allows sharing directories between the Proxmox VE host and VMs without the overhead of a network filesystem....
