We have released a major update to the Q4OS 4 Gemini LTS. The new Gemini 4.10 series receives the recent Debian Bullseye 11.4 updates, updated Debian stable kernel and important security and bug fixes. After a careful review and testing we have concluded to include the full upgrade of the Trinity desktop environment into this release as well, so Q4OS Gemini now features the most recent Trinity 14.0.12 version. This release brings along improvements of Q4OS specific tools and cumulative upgrade covering all the changes from the previous stable Gemini release.
The Emmabuntüs Collective is pleased to announce the release for August 1 , 2022, of the Emmabuntüs Debian Edition 4 1.02 update (32 and 64 bits) based on Debian 11.4 Bullseye and XFCE / LXQt . This new update of our distribution takes the improvements of the Emmabuntüs DE5 , adding better support for UEFI as well as Secure Boot with the update of our reuse key to support cloning and backup with Secure Boot.

UEFI Support, OviOS Linux can now be installed on EFI HW. BIOS is still supported. Kernel 5.17.4 (from 4.14.99) OpenSSL 3.0.1. OviOS Linux 4.00 provides support for openssl 1.1 libraries. Python 3.10.2. Python 2.7.15 has been removed from OviOS 4.00

Manjaro Linux 21.3.6 was released in July, 2022, this version was preceded by 21.3.5, and was available for desktop / laptop computers. It is available to install on 64-bit CPU platform. Compared to previous releases, this Manjaro version includes some new updates and features, such as Kernels updated, Mesa updated to 22.1.4, AMDVLK 2022.Q3.1, Firefox 103 performed better on high-refresh rate monitors, VirtualBox 6.1.36, Regular updates etc.

22.7, nicknamed "Powerful Panther", features the upgrade to FreeBSD 13.1, PHP 8.0, Phalcon 5, stacked VLAN and Intel QuickAssist (QAT) support, DDoS protection using SYN cookies, MVC/API pages for IPsec status and Unbound overrides, new APCUPSD and CrowdSec plugins plus much more. LibreSSL flavour is scheduled for removal at the end of this series and will likely receive no further maintenance. Software failing to work properly starting with Tor will have its plugin removed from the flavour from now on to be able to keep updating the software to their latest versions in the OpenSSL flavour. The next major upgrade will automatically transition to the OpenSSL flavour, but we would encourage everyone to switch between 22.7.x for the least amount of possible impact.
