The underlying base system has been updated to the latest Raspberry Pi OS Lite, v.11, Bullseye with a backported OMX Player.
The July release is an update following the June release and addresses a major issue with the use of non-free Nvidia drivers that caused systems to not boot. As a result, a new ISO is required immediately. The release includes the latest versions of Plasma desktop, KDE Gear, and Frameworks, all built on Qt 5.15.10+. Notably, the release introduces a new Plasma 6 preview ISO for testing purposes. Several system updates are also included, such as a new GCC, Glibc, and kernel version. Additionally, new applications like Tokodon and Signal Desktop have been added, and there are improvements in log viewing and ISO writing tools. However, it's worth noting that installing on RAID is currently not possible.

blendOS v3 introduces two new command line utilities, system and user, and both of these are designed to make the lives of developers much, much easier. system allows you to install packages on the host itself, such as drivers and virtualization software from the Arch Linux repositories (system install and system remove). Speaking of which, unlike quite a few other immutable distributions, blendOS supports software such as VirtualBox if installed on the host. user is a replacement for the old blend CLI (was deprecated in v2). It allows you to create and manage containers and associatiions, as well as generate and move dotfiles and containers between different blendOS machines, as touched upon in the previous section.
A brand new stable Q4OS 5.2 version codenamed 'Aquarius' is immediately available for download and use in production environments. This is a long-term support LTS version to be supported for at least five years with security patches and software updates. Q4OS Aquarius is based on Debian Bookworm 12 and Plasma 5.27.5, optionally Trinity 14.1.1 desktop environment, and it's available for 64bit/x64 computers. A 32bit/i686pae edition for older i386 systems with or without PAE extension will follow soon, in a few days. We plan to bring Aquarius for ARM devices as well. The objective is to provide rock stable, as lightweight as possible, Debian based operating system with added value thanks to unique Q4OS tools.
Raspberry Digital Signage 19.0 released
mAid_v4.1_x86-64 was released on July 3, 2023, as a maintenance release. The update includes various improvements and bug fixes, such as updating the Manjaro Linux base, optimizing the budgie-desktop, fixing missing icons in budgie-control-center, and performing several cleanups. Additionally, a virtual keyboard has been added for touch devices, and the mAid Installer for flashing mAid has been updated and adapted. The release also introduces a new build size option (full and light) and includes behind-the-scenes updates, such as a new download page and an initial version of an mAid repository. The release notes provide version details for various components, including the kernel, ADB and fastboot, Firefox, Chromium, and more. bluestar-linux-6.4.1-2-2023.07.04-x86_64 has been released and is available for download
The July 2023 release of Archcraft, developed by Aditya Shakya, brings a host of updates and bug fixes to enhance the user experience. The release includes an updated ISO profile with the latest archiso and a refreshed base system with new packages. Notable improvements include resolving the issue of xfce-power-manager not locking the screen on lid close and fixing sddm's inability to save the last used session. Additionally, the release introduces a calculator app and brings enhancements to both Openbox and BSPWM window managers, such as alternate panel options, a Bluetooth module, and a rofi Bluetooth applet. Numerous small bugs have also been addressed in this release, collectively aiming to provide a more stable and feature-rich environment for Archcraft users.
This is the final release of Fatdog64 800 series. No further release is planned. Fatdog64 will however continue with a new base, the 900 series.
