The Emmabuntüs Collective is pleased to announce the release on March 24, 2025, of the update of its distribution, Emmabuntüs Debian Edition 5 1.04 (32-bit and 64-bit), based on Debian 12.10 'Bookworm' and the XFCE and LXQt desktop environments. This new version of our distribution mainly concerns updates to the software included in it following the release of Debian 12.10, with the update of the excellent Debian beginner’s handbook which now includes a German version included in our distribution, as well as the addition as standard of the Debian reference manuals included in it for the following languages: English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese and Japanese. Emmabuntüs DE 5 1.04 includes the following new features and enhancements: based on the Debian 12.10 'Bookworm' operating system; Updates - Firefox 128.8.0esr, Thunderbird 128.7.0esr, deb-get 0.4.4, Ventoy 1.1.05, CTparental 5.1.23, Warpinator 1.8.8, Boot-Repair 4ppa2081, RadioTray-NG 0.2.9, Debian beginners handbook 12.10; accessibility feature updates - Ocrizer 1.4, Elograf 0.6.0.
