Vendefoul Wolf is a free GNU/Linux distribution based on Devuan, focused on stability, user-friendliness, and user control. The project currently offers three editions: Viriato (Alpha/Testing), Excalibur (the current stable release), and Vendefoul Wolf 23 (the oldstable release based on Devuan Daedalus, intended for legacy 32-bit hardware). It supports a wide range of desktop environments and includes several in-house GPLv3 utilities, such as Aconita (kernel manager), Onix (system updater), +Memory (RAM cleaner), Init Changer, and JumptoXLibre, with OpenRC and the XLibre graphical server used by default in the latest Excalibur releases.
