This is a minor (point) release in the 4MLinux STABLE channel, which comes with the Linux kernel 6.0.18. The 4MLinux Server now includes Apache 2.4.54, MariaDB 10.6.11, and PHP 7.4.33 (see this post for more details). You can update your 4MLinux by executing the "zk update" command in your terminal (fully automatic process).

Both versions are available for both 32-bit and 64-bit processor architectures. One of the biggest improvements in Slax 15.0.1 and 11.6.0 are updated packages. Another key feature of the new Slax versions is the use of the newest DynFileFS which implements how 'persistent changes' are stored on writable media. This means that when you run Slax from an USB device, all the changes you make to the system will be stored in a special file (actually, a set of four files) on the USB disk, making it possible to use Slax on the go. In the past, this feature was limited to a total size of 4GB, but with the newest DynFileFS, you can store up to 16GB of data.

We are proud to announce the release of Gnoppix 23.2, the latest version of our popular Linux distribution. This version includes many new features and improvements, including extensive bug fixes and improved performance, as well as support for the latest hardware and software. Gnoppix 23.2 also incorporates extensive user feedback, which we have been continuously working to implement in order to make our distribution the best it can be. This feedback has been crucial in helping us improve Gnoppix 23.2 and we are very grateful to our users for their help. On Perrit's request, we've added ChatGPT as a GNOME extension. We are now working on the next release, with GNOME 44, which is scheduled for release in March 23. This release will include the latest version of the GNOME desktop environment, as well as a number of other improvements and changes. We look forward to bringing you Gnoppix 23.3 and continuing to improve Gnoppix with your help.

As always, AppCenter is the centerpiece of elementary OS. The primary purpose of any operating system is to support the apps that you use to work, play, and express yourself creatively. In the latest version of AppCenter we've worked on making app descriptions more engaging with more information, making it easier to update to the latest versions of apps, and improving support for sideloading and alt stores. We've also worked on improving AppCenter's responsiveness - making sure you can comfortably use it when tiling and on small displays as well as better using space on large displays. We've completely rewritten the way navigation works in AppCenter and now support two-finger swipe gestures to navigate back. The entire app loads much faster and provides more feedback when running background tasks via an overlay bar in the bottom right or left corner.
Glad to present to you the update of the operating system ALT Workstation 10.1 on Platform 10 (p10 Aronia branch). The assembly of ALT Education 10.1 distribution kit is prepared for the x86_64, AArch64, i586 architecture and Elbrus. The operating system is included in the Unified Register of Russian programs and databases. The product satisfies the request of Russian organizations for the smooth merging of the existing infrastructure on foreign software with the infrastructure under the domestic operating systems control.
2023 01 January ISO refresh is ready for download. Built from Manjaro stable branch as of 26.01.23. Available with latest LTS kernel – 5.15 or slightly older one 5.4 LTS. The release includes several improvements, notable of which are: a modern config for Picom and a quick menu for configuring Tint2 panels.
A new 2.0 release of Peropesis Linux OS released. In the new edition, part of the old software was updated and several new packages was installed. The tool Make, which controls the automatic installation of software from the source code, was installed. Database management system SQLite, command-line based editor nano and terminal emulator/multiplexer Screen were also installed. New software installed: 1. sqlite 3.40.1. Sqlite – a relational database management system that allows the user to define, create, maintain and manage data in simple files (databases) using the sqlite3 command line interface or your own interfaces in C/C++ or other programming languages. 2. libedit 20221030 3.1. libedit is a library that provides command line editing, retrospection and markup functions. 3. screen 4.9.0.
