OmniOS is an open-source operating system for servers, with support for many popular Solaris and OpenSolaris technologies, such as the ZFS file system, bhyve hypervisor, Dtrace (a dynamic tracing framework for troubleshooting kernel and application problems), kernel-based virtual machine, and Linux zone.
