This is the first Ludora release based on Fedora 45 and probably the biggest yet. Instead of building on top of the CachyOS kernel, Ludora now ships its own independent kernel built on the official kernel.org source. It still has the BORE scheduler and POC idle-CPU selector, but they are now taken directly from their author, firelzrd. Tuning settings from CachyOS have been carried over and are built into the kernel. Ludora now installs and runs with Secure Boot enabled. The live ISO image boots Fedora's signed kernel, so it works with Secure Boot on. If Secure Boot is on and you choose the Ludora kernel during installation, it is signed on your machine, and on first boot you enroll the key once in MokManager (password: ludora). This means users don't need to turn off Secure Boot, neither when installing nor using Ludora. Ludora uses packages from different sources, including single developers and small projects. To minimize the risk of malicious code, a code review for malicious code has been performed on all packages supplied by such developers.
