The CachyOS February 2025 release introduces key improvements, including Propeller optimization alongside AutoFDO, which enhances kernel performance by approximately 10%. Support for NVIDIA’s Blackwell/50xx series has been added, utilizing the open module driver. The update also enables tap-to-click by default in X11, switches to the NTFS3 kernel driver for improved NTFS performance, and introduces kernel fixes for AMD preferred core functionality. Additionally, a longstanding issue affecting DaVinci Resolve with CUDA on hybrid Intel-NVIDIA systems has been resolved. Other updates include glibc security fixes, game performance improvements, and enhanced kernel management. Existing users can update via `sudo pacman -Syu`.
