GuideOS 1.0

Yes, we did it! After over a year of intensive work by the core team and a lot of support from the community, the time has finally come. The community Linux GuideOS has launched version 1.0. It has been a creative journey, which we're concluding today with this first major step, and we're very proud of it. It all started with a crazy idea in the Linux forum, and now our hearts are deeply connected to this hobby project, and we're also proud of the current result. We started with Debian 12, and the current version of GuideOS has now switched to Debian 13. We chose Debian because we wanted a stable system and also wanted to be able to support Windows and Mac users in the future. That's why we opted for the Cinnamon desktop environment and included a special tool as a central control unit.
